I wrote it and I don’t know how to write these things. This page probably has no legal worth.
Most websites have super boring privacy policies filled with things that are hard to understand. Nobody reads them. Nobody is going to read this one either.
Cookies are text files that my website downloads onto your browser. You can get rid of them by using a browser extention. This one works for Google Chrome.
Cookies add functionality to the website.
Cookies also collect data about you.
1. WordPress – content management software
2. Facebook Pixel – a piece of code to track what people do after they click on a Facebook ad and come to my site…ex – fill out a form,
4. Mailchimp…that email sign up form that I hope you filled out, that’s from Mailchimp. It’s also how I send out my weekly emails. You can subscribe anytime by clicking on the little button on the bottom of the email. I’ll try not to be offended.
5. Google Analytics. This is the big one. It gives me lots of data about how people get to my site, age, gender, income, interests, and more. Don’t worry. It doesn’t give me your name. I don’t need your name to send you silly short stories.
If you want to get off my mailing list or have other concerns about any data I have about you, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
