After prison, Sarah went to community college.

After getting her AA, she got an inside sales job (with benefits) at a growing corporation.

After getting cancer, Sarah knew this was God’s punishment for the manslaughter she committed a decade prior.

Her stint in the penitentiary wasn’t enough to pay back Jesus’ Father, a God who only accepted child sacrifice, and only if it was his own child.

Going to church had given Sarah no chance at forgiving herself. Or realizing that there was no angry deity in the sky.

The cancer took her in just three months.
